Curious Lives
Another book i am reading right now... Curious Lives by Richard Bach
quite nice, the second story in it i really liked a lot... though no where near the absolute genius of his other books that i feel everyone must read:
Johnathan Livingston Seagull
Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah
A Bridge across Forever
One
His writing is surreal, vivid, joyful, funny, poignant... makes you feel fresh
The other books that he has written, somehow i have not enjoyed so much...
Happy Reading!
Jai Gurudeva!

JAI GURUDEV! BAU :)
When I saw a Richard Bach on the table in Vishwas Bhaiyyas' home, I couldn't resist picking it up, and the short span that I was there I managed to squeeze in quite a few pages and was glued! I'm sure Curious Lives too will be a great read like some of his earlier ones, can't wait to buy it! Bau, I'd read Jonathan L. Seagull when in school and it had impressed me no end, since then I've been a fan of his writings. In fact Bau, I too have enjoyed reading the very same books the 4 names that you have mentioned, tremendously. Happy Reading Bau! Love and Regards, Sonia [Anuradha].
Hiiii Bau, Jai Gurudev!
'The Little Prince' by Antoine de Saint Exupery is a really nice read as well...one of my favourites...
Great to find u like Bach too...I think it is the same tenets of spirituality presented in a different flavor and like it tht way. Illusions remains my favorite n I used to read it the same way I read Celebrating silence now. Open it to a page n it has smthing for u. It led me to where I am and then I outgrew it...
hi bau...
I read The bridge across for ever... I dodnt know what to make of it. Was an interesting read but i just didn't understand what he was trying to say with the book...
I'm still lost about Bach...
didn't know of the book "curious lives"... will look for it...
Richard Bach has been my favourite author... espacially for Jonathan Livingston Seagull...
In my graduation days I used read Jonathan Livingston Seagull so many times! I had almost by-hearted it!
I have been exploring this mindblowing blog..I wish to add..I got my 16 year old students to enact Jonathan...Yet another priceless book from Bach is.."Running from Safety".Got the kids to enact that too.I liked what you said somewhere.." We have to ensure that our mainstream youngsters do not get marginalized." Art of Living teachers serve as living inspiration.. :)! Looking forward to Utsav- the Kolkata chapter.Jgd
